Fox River Trail Relay and Ultra

The entirety of the race course is run along the scenic Fox River Trail.  Starting at Hudson Crossing Park in Oswego, the path runs through Oswego, Montgomery, Aurora, North Aurora, Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, South Elgin and finishes in Elgin at Festival Park.  

You have the option of running this as an individual runner and completing the 31 miles to Elgin as a 50K or you can sign up to run there and back as a 100K runner (62 miles).  The 50K option will have shuttle transportation back to the start every hour.  The course will have aid stations for all runners at the relay exchange points.  These stations will be separated by approximately 5 miles each.

There is also a team relay option where you can divide the distance of the course between 2, 3 or 6 runners.  The course will have pre-defined exchange points for each team to change out runners.  These exchange points will be approximately 5 miles apart.  Exact distance and race segments are provided below. Each team is responsible for getting their team members to the exchange points for themselves.
